New Antenatal Course Starting Tonight

I am looking forward to facilitating a new group of parents-to-be information gathering this evening. I strongly feel that the more prepared you are for birth and new parenting , the better (and quicker) the birth will be and the easier the first few weeks of parenting!! From my last group , all had quick natural births lasting less than 5 hours . It gave me a great sense of satisfaction to feel that I had hopefully contributed to these good outcomes.casa hinchable

This year seems to be flying by – and so I hope you will understand that this website is still a work in progress. I would encourage you to make contributions to this site, particularly if you have tips you’d like to share with other new parents or parents-to-be – and if you would like to see your birth story appear here, please email me.

For those in their last 6 weeks of pregnancy the time can seem to really drag. You may be feeling exhausted or excited or apprehensive – or a mix of these feelings as the ‘due date’ draws near. Use this time to catch up on sleep, pamper yourself and relax. Often at this time you may be struggling to sleep at night: if you do not already have a preggy pillow, try to borrow one. If you have leg cramps, speak to your midwife or doctor as often taking natural supplements can help. Prepare yourself mentally by practicing relaxation and breathing techniques or write your birth plan.
